In order to achieve a high standard of cuisine, it is essential to have not only an excellent chef and the highest quality fresh food, but also a clean and hygenic kitchen. With that in mind, we are very proud to declare that we are one of the few restuarants in the area to be awarded 5 stars for food hygiene by the Food Standards Agency. 

At Holt Lodge, our commitment to first class cuisine remains at the very core of what we do; and our principle of delivering ‘top quality at affordable prices’ is clearly evident in our restaurant. We are proud to offer a wide range of locally sourced fresh produce, alongside our tantalising wine list. 

This popular contemporary restaurant warmly welcomes non-residents; along with our hotel guests, and although not essential, booking is recommended. 

Select from our A La Carte Menu for lunch and dinner, or the more informal Bar Menu, offering lighter dishes from noon and then throughout the day. Our celebrated Traditional Carvery is another popular choice with many of our regular local diners. 

The members of our friendly team are always delighted to welcome children to the restaurant, especially when accompanied by their well-trained parents. 

(We do like to see Dads finishing their main courses before we allow them a pud!) 

Relaxation is the order of the day in our restful, softly lit Bar. Melt into one of our luxurious sofas as you unwind with the drink of your choice. From cappuccino to Cognac, cocktails to Champagne, we stock an extensive range of premium brand beers, lagers, spirits and liqueurs. With many wines on our list also available by the glass, the Holt Lodge Bar is the perfect rendezvous for business or pleasure.
