Very nice hotel just outside of Wrexham. The staff were friendly and accomodating. All rooms have free wi-fi which is really helpful when staying on business, (January 2011)

The room had a lot of good facilities (room had flat screen TV with good sound, an iron and board which was useful). Best was free wi fi throughout the hotel including my room. Breakfast was good wit helpful staff on. (May 2010)

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and will continue to do so, I would recommend it to anyone. The staff are so polite and can't do enough for you and the carvery on a Wednesday is fantastic. (April 2010)

Fantastic Hotel
Although the rooms are a little "tired", a good hotel's heart is its staff, and the staff were incredible, very helpful, friendly and made our stay one to remember. The public areas are comfortable, and well presented. The food was excellent, and great value for money. (April 2010)

"I really enjoyed my stay at Holt Lodge, I was on a business trip and I'm so fed up of big chains, so Holt lodge was a breath of fresh air. Lovely hotel, very helpful and friendly staff and the most amazing food from their restaurant. Very clean and nicely designed layout. Rooms are very nice but a little basic. I'm traveling up to that area again soon, and there's only one place I will be staying!" (6th February 2010)

"A highly recommended little gem - This must be one of the best hotels I have stayed in for years. This is highly recommended and I will be staying again if I am back in the area. All the staff were both professional and friendly, especially all the girls in the restaurant. As a none meat eater, I was cautious about the food as they specialise in a carvery. I need not have worried, the rest of the menu offered plenty of options and the food was great. The rooms were both spacious and well equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. Overall 99/100. Why not 100/100, well a couple of spare sockets over the desk would make the difference. At the moment you need to choose between the TV / desk light and your computer / mobile phone charger."
